TOY amp

This functional toy amp was a personal exercise in expression and form.

It reduces complexity with its interface only consisting of the power switch, gain knob, and input jack. Its small and light weight construction allows young musicians flexibly engage with it.

How it works

The amp is battery powered and uses a LM386 chip to amplify the instrument signal and drive the 35mm 8 ohm speaker.

The amp can be opened to be serviced or modified with the M3 screws easily accessible on the front and back.
